Alisa Dyundik is a figurative analogue photographer who has exhibited across Russia. Recent exhibitions in Russia include Pop Off Art Gallery and Art4 Gallery in Moscow, Dias Art Gallery in Irkutsk, Gridchinhall in Dmitrovskoe, and Nikolay Evdokimov Gallery in St. Petersburg. Alisa has won multiple awards from the Exposure One Photo Contest and has been published by Mass, The Blueprint 100, Badlon, Fisheye, and Plural Magazines. She describes her love for analogue photography by describing never feeling “connected to digital photography. I find the endless frames and screen-based workflow distracting. With film, there`s no over-shooting, no endless editing. With proper in-camera exposure and lab development, the colour balance is spot on straight from the lab, and I don`t feel the need to change anything afterwards; it`s already complete. Film also softens the image in a way that feels more honest”.
