David Hathaway is a contemporary abstract painter who has exhibited in New York and New York State. Recent exhibitions and fairs include a solo feature in Chelsea at Pleiades Gallery as well as collective shows at Detox Gallery, Art Expo, Clio Art Fair, several shows at Pleiades Gallery, 16th Annual Yonkers Art Showcase, and Peekskill Open Studios. David’s awards include the Ford Foundation Scholarship for photography and the Laurel Award from Gallery 4 Percent. He describes his work as a “raw visual language, one which speaks in fragments, emotions, and echoes. My work is a negotiation between intuition and control, destruction and refinement.
