Rachel Clites is an analogue digital artist who has exhibited in Maryland and has a background in theatre. Recent exhibitions in Maryland include 7th Street Gallery in Chesapeake Beach, Calvert Arts Alliance in Prince Frederick, Arts in the Park - Chesapeake Arts Center in Brooklyn, and the Smithsonian Institute at Ann Marie Gardens in Solomons Island. Rachel’s awards include a Creative and Performing Arts Scholarship endowed by the Jim Henson Foundation and recognized as a Blue Ribbon Award Winner at the Calvert County Fair. She describes the inspiration between her figurative work as: “I begin with an image of a woman who is fully in her power, who feels to me like she loves herself, and no one is watching.
